Details

The prerequisite for all participants is to have gained familiarity with the theoretical concepts in all areas by having read the required review material in the GARP package:

  • The “Financial Risk Management Handbook”, Fifth Edition by P. Jorion
  • The GARP supplemental (mandatory) reading material as it appears in the “GARP electronic library”

financial risk fitness acknowledges that most candidates are full time employed and have to balance the demands of their full time jobs along with those of their private lives. Nevertheless, the standards for passing the FRM® examinations are quite highly set, which imposes a significant level of discipline and preparatory work on all candidates, even the most seasoned in financial risk management. To accommodate for the above, frf has decided to conduct evening and weekend courses.
